The winner of the 2010 Tri-Nations crown may yet to be decided but the fixtures for next year's title race have already been confirmed.
The World Cup means a shortened version of the competition will be contested next year with the Wallabies, All Blacks and Springboks only playing each other twice instead of the standard three times.
The action kicks off with Australia playing host to South Africa in Sydney on July 23 and finish with the Wallabies tackling the All Blacks in Brisbane on August 27 - less than two weeks before the start of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. The 2011 battle for southern hemisphere supremacy is set to be the last three-team competition with Argentina set to enter the fray from 2012.
South Africa will stage a Tri-Nations match in the Eastern Cape for the first time with the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth hosting the Springboks v All Blacks encounter on August 20. The Boks will launch their title challenge against the Wallabies in Durban on August 13.
The All Blacks open their campaign against South Africa in Wellington on July 30 and host the Wallabies a week later at Auckland's Eden Park. The re-vamped stadium in the New Zealand capital will host the opening game of the World Cup among four pool games, as well as both semi-finals, the third/fourth play-offs and the tournament finale.
In Australia, the tournament opens at ANZ Stadium in Sydney while Brisbane will again host a Bledisloe Cup clash as the Wallabies play host to the All Blacks at Suncorp Stadium for the first time since 2006.
